Making Donations and Sponsoring Children:
Helping the Anglo-Thai Foundation with education in North-East Thailand

The bulk of the money we raise in order to help the children in Esarn comes from people like yourself, in the form of donations.

Without people like you there would be no donations, no income for the ATF and so our work would have to stop: the children we currently help would be thrown back on their own resources, which are virtually non-existent.

As it is, because of your donations, we are able to help children through primary school, secondary school and college. Some of the first children we helped back in 1990 have completed their university education at Khon Kaen and are now qualified teachers, putting back into the Thai education system what they themselves have got out of it. Their success would not have been possible without the help of the Anglo-Thai Foundation: without your help.

All the ATF Trustees are voluntary workers, who give their time for nothing: running expenses are kept to an absolute minimum, so you can be assured that the bulk of your donation will actually go to a pupil in Thailand to further their education.

How can you help?

General Donations
We are delighted to accept one-off (or regular) gifts of any amount, large or small. These donations go into a general fund out of which grants are paid to children who are not sponsored.

Sponsorship
We particularly welcome sponsorship. This is a commitment to make payment for several years so that the children can be confident of continuing support. Because of this we ask that you pay for at least four years (longer if you wish)
If you take out a sponsorship, you will be able to select the child you sponsor, or you can leave it to the Foundation to select a child for you.
Either way we will endeavour to keep you fully informed about your child's progress.

Sponsorship costs £50 per year for a primary pupil, £60 for a secondary pupil, £150 for a pupil who goes on to higher education or £350 for an education student at Khon Kaen . All can be paid conveniently by Standing Order or Direct Debit, whichever you prefer.

Speaking personally, our family supports, amongst others, a little girl called Suphera. I have been to her school and village, and I have seen the difference it makes to her, knowing that her future education is secure. Go to Suphera's Story to read more about her.

We, and the children of Esarn, greatly appreciate any donation, single or regular that you feel able to make. To this end we have supplied the facility for you to pay either directly by credit/debit card or by sending us a standing order or direct debit payment. However if you do pay by credit card or direct debit, the Charities Aid Foundation will take a small percentage as a handling charge which won't then go towards helping the children of Esarn, who you may well think are the more deserving recipients.
Thank you anyway".

On behalf of the children of Thailand, thank you for your support, whatever you chosen method of payment
